A ‘money box chest’ appeal is out for Chester – a rescue Maine Coon who has serious and sudden chest problems – see the video of the poor boy trying to breathe. The 'go fund me' ask is to dig deep into pockets to help save him? The lad was ‘given up’ for adoption and neutered on Tuesday at Pype Hayes vets but yesterday (Thursday) Chester’s breathing deteriorated and he was rushed to the Willows. Thankfully, he’s a ‘bit more stable’ but the bill is already over £1500. Could be aspiration pneumonia following anaesthetic with a chance that Chester may have eaten/been given a ‘few biscuits overnight when he should have been starved’ which can cause vomit under anaesthetic. ’Cats in Care’ and Team Cat Rescue need to raise the funds – paws crossed – to save his life and pay the vet bill. Then we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Phew!
