Each year since 2018 Chester Pride, offers a space at the table for anyone from the LGBT+ and wider community of Chester and surrounding areas who maybe along or simply can't afford the cost of Christmas.

This comes at a cost which needs covering to be able to help around 30 people each year.

Guests are treated to

• A hot and cold style buffet

• A personalized Christmas card and small gift

• Taxi transport to and from the event

• Entertainment such as prize bingo, Quiz's and crafting activities

Ideally, we need to raise around £700 to cover the costs, as in previous years, we ensure no food goes to waste, with food parcels made up and hand delivered to any member of the homeless community out on the streets of Chester on Christmas day and unused food being sent to homeless charities across the city or the local foodbank.

The event is run by a small team of volunteers who donate their time, to ensure others are not alone on Christmas day.
