My name is Azad. Im a trans non binary refugee who currently lives in berlin Germany, am writing this because I am at a crossroad in my life and I’m reaching out for support to help with the costs of my top surgery which is a crucial step in my journey towards a more free and authentic life.

living with gender dysphoria has been a deeply painful experience that I have had to go through everyday. My chest doesn’t reflect who I am and it causes me constant emotional and psychological stress and distress. Top surgery isn’t going to be just a medical procedure for me it will be a lifesaving care that will allow me to breathe ,move ,and exist in my body without having to feel fear or shame.

As a refugee my resources are limited and my battle with the German healthcare system has been a long and difficult process and not all costs are covered . On top of that navigating the world we live in as a non binary person is even more complicated, believe me I have tried every possible route but I cannot afford to wait any longer. I need support .

My goal is to raise 6000£ to cover the cost of the surgery, recovery, and associated costs like transportation , recuperation and after care etc. Every donation no matter the amount will bring me closer to living a life where I can feel safe in my body and give me the life I deserve.
