Chessie’s skin removal

Hello my is Chessie.

Update: I had skin removal 6/8/2022 which Consist of breast lift, panniculectomy and tummy tuck (without lipo or muscle work). I have an consultation coming up for arms. Anything else raises will go to scar creams and towards my arms. 

 I had bariatrics sleeve surgery 12/09/2019, started at 393lbs, I’ve lost 238lbs. I’m currently 155lbs. I have lots of extra skin all over my body. I met with a surgeon on 01/27/2022, she let me know the 3-4 surgeries I’d need to tighten up all my skin. The first one would be panniculectomy and breast lift. 5hours worth of surgery the first go round. I’d have to be cut from middle of breast down to pelvic area then from hip to hip with all skin being pulled and tightened up. Insurance will only cover hip to hip. And unfortunately I need it all, I’ve lost to much weigh and there is no way for me to get the elasticity back in my skin. Think of a rubber band being used over and over, eventually it would stay big and not go back to normal. Even though I get rashes and it is all medically necessary insurance only sees it as cosmetic. I did this to my body, I let my mental health get so out of hand, I used food as coping, I had surgery to help me! And boy has it! I’ve learned to deal with my mental issues without food, I made the life style changes to not let myself get that heavy ever again! I’m sticking to everything my program has set out for me and I have an amazing support system helping me along the way. Now the next step of the journey removing the extra loose skin. I’m asking for help! It pains me to ask for help but a close friend told me, worse thing that can happen is no one donates. Take the chance so that is what I am doing. I’m currently disabled due to a car accident I was in 2 months after bariatrics. 02/23/2020. So I can’t work to save it on my own, I’m having hip surgery 02/28/22 (I’ve had 2 shoulder surgery within the last 2 years 8/2020 rotary cuff & 08/2021 bicep) and both surgeons think I’d be ready for skin surgery by Aug 2022 if I could come up with the funds. I am just taking a shot here, I don’t expect anything but anything would be greatly appreciated.
