Hello dear friends! As some of you may know, Chessa and I JUST moved out to Colorado and last week, we were enjoying playing fetch in the snow when Chessa suddenly started limping halfway through our game. After two vet opinions and lots of stress, she, unfortunately, has a full tear on her back right ACL. Due to her size, age, and her underlying hip dysplasia, she will need TPLO surgery to return to her happy, sweet self. We are expecting 12 weeks of post-op rehabilitation and physical therapy before we can adventure and explore again, but hopeful for a full recovery!

For those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting Chessa, you know that she is my baby and the bestest girl there is. It hurts me so much to see her in such pain. Since we are just getting settled in CO and moving cost a pretty penny, if you can help in any way, we would greatly appreciate it! We are expecting lots of large veterinary bills and costs associated with the surgery that I am unable to afford on my own (being a career newbie), so thank you in advance for your donation.
