Chess Cares Chess Tournament

I'm hosting an amazing fundraising event for the American Cancer Society and I need your support! The American Cancer Society’s mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

I'll be running a Rapid Chess Tournament in NYC! All proceeds for the event will go towards the American Cancer Society and we will have donated prizes for the top finishers. We all know someone effected by this disease. I lost both my parents to cancer and a couple of friends. This year alone, more than 600,000 Americans will die of cancer. That’s more than 1,600 people per day in the United States. That’s why, with our 1.5 million supporters, we are taking action. The money I raise through my fundraiser will help fund and provide the critical programs and services that people count on every day.
