Cheslie’s Battle to Beat Cancer

Hi, everyone. My name is Amy. This has been a hard thing to write. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it and come to terms with it. I don’t know why cancer has to pick the most precious of people to destroy their bodies.

My best friend Cheslie Edwards has been diagnosed with small cell lung which has metastasized to her brain and throughout her body. She is no longer able to work and is in constant pain. She is remaining strong in her faith and knows God has her.

Since Cheslie can no longer work, she is having a hard time paying her bills. She is used to being independent and doesn’t like to ask for help but has always been willing to help those in need.

Cheslie has her own home and also a car note. We all know these come with monthly bills: electricity, water, gas, insurance, maintenance, ect. With her limited income she needs help. All donations are welcome and prayers are encouraged.

Cheslie has been clinging to this verse: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10
