Cheryl's Senior Companion Care Education Fund

 

I want to participate in a program that will allow me to enhance the services I currently provide to my clients. As a caregiver, I am pursuing my passion and fulfilling on my life’s work with heart, compassion, patience, and lots of love. I come along side older adults, supporting them in ways that minimize frustrations, and help them to accomplish things that otherwise might not get done. As a travel companion, I help seniors go places they choose with the people/family they choose to go with.

 

I am asking for your financial assistance to register for the CSTC* Certification Program. This 2-day training and certification program will be conducted on Friday and Saturday, March 25 & 26, 2022, at the LivGenerations Training Center in Tempe, AZ. Your support will help cover the cost of registration ($1800), roundtrip air travel (approx. $400), and lodging for three nights at the Drury Inn (approx. $675) which is in walking distance of the training center.

 

Continuing to provide quality services and meet new demand requires ongoing professional trainings and certifications. This program will provide the additional knowledge and skills I need to better assess, plan, and execute travel to meet the unique needs of a variety of older adult clients and those with travel challenges.
