Cheryl’s Fight against Glioblastoma:
Hello family and friends. On Friday April 2 in the afternoon Cheryl suffered what appeared to be a mild stroke or seizure like symptoms at work. After being rushed to the hospital and doing many test including an MRI it was discovered she had a brain tumor. As most of you know she had surgery the following Tuesday to remove it. After surgery the doctors had a pretty good idea what it was but wanted to wait on the pathology before putting a prognosis together. On April 19th the entire family met with a team of doctors to get the devastating news that it was stage 4 brain cancer, Glioblastoma, which currently there in no cure. We are truly believing God for a miracle to say the least. She started radiation and chemotherapy last week and has 6 straight weeks of it to try and slow the spread and kill as many cancer cells as possible. The doctor said it’s not a matter of if it comes back but rather when. So Cheryl, Terry, our children and family desire your daily prayers as our families work together to get through each step that’s before Cheryl to fight everyday to live. She is truly in God’s hands.
I asked Cheryl what she would like to do or where she would like to go before she got to sick to travel? She told me Alaska... Bonnie and I asked for hers and Terry’s blessings to do a couple fund raisers to pay for the trip and they gave their blessings to us. The trip is planned for July 17-26 this year. I made up a 1,000 window stickers that you can put anywhere you like. #CANCERSUCKS The Fight is Real! See picture... I know many of you have been effected by cancer.
I’m asking for a $10 donation or more and I will get one to you by hand or mail. I’ve had many friends and family tell me to let them know when I got the stickers and started the fundraising for the trip. Well, we got them today! And I’m asking y’all to share this post and participate. If you would like to use a credit card or debit card I’m going to set up a go fund me page.
