Cheryl Winter Fundraiser

Hi my name is Andrew Winter from Gippsland, and I am Cheryl's brother, who currently works for CCL Labour as a carpenter.

6 months ago my beautiful sister Cheryl was diagnosed with particularly aggressive form of small cell lung cancer, caused by a blood clot that started in her leg and travelled to her lungs. Around two weeks ago, Cheryl was informed she has around 2 months life expectancy, as the cancer had mestastasized to her brain including 8 tumours in the hippocampus.

Cheryl no longer has a partner but has two lovely young children, Billy and Aylisha, and because of the cost of medical bills and the inability to work for the last few months, she has lost her house and entirely dependant myself for financial support and on my elderly parents to get her around and do the round trip from Leongatha to Melbourne a few times a week for the treatments to try and helo her fight this horrible disease.

It breaks my heart to do this but Cheryl is fighting like hell to try and get through this and we are trying every avenue of treatment to try and get her better. She has asked of me is to try and help her clear what debt for the cancer treatment is left, and to be able to take her two kids and family on a small holiday down the coast for a few days while she is still able to.

Any and all monies raised will go toward fulfilling her wishes and clearing the medical debt.
