Cheryl and Owen are dear friends whose home and vehicles were recently flooded as a result of the recent heavy rain in California. Although insurance covers the house's structural damage, and removal of debris, it does not cover the cost to replace furniture and appliances, nor does it cover the rental of a temporary home for Cheryl, Owen, and the adult man they foster. Replacement of at least one vehicle will certainly cost more than insurance will cover.
