Cheryl Monroe Medical Fund

Thank you for all your donations and support!!  According to Cheryl's husband, they now have medicaid and most of the medical bills should be covered.  We are no longer accepting donations to the Cheryl A. Monroe Special Trust.  The existing trust funds will continue to be used to supplement Cheryl's health and medical needs.  Please continue to pray for Cheryl and her recovery.****

Cheryl Monroe suffered a brain aneurysm August 8th after losing her brother to Cancer on August 7th. She was flown to Jefferson Hospital in Philly where she is currently in the ICU undergoing treatment. Cheryl unfortunately did not have insurance and will be unable to work for quite some time. She has been a well-loved waitress at Ocean View Family Restaurant for over 24 years.  

Michelle Reynolds, a friend of Cheryl's, that lives in Clarksville, started this GoFundMe page.  As of 8/16 all money raised will go to the Cheryl A. Monroe Special Trust which has been established for the sole purpose of supplementing Cheryl's needs, medical expenses, ongoing therapy and enabling her to live as independently as possible.  All donations received from this page, proceeds from Fundraisers, and cash from the various Collection Jars will be put into the trust.

Thanks to you we hit our initial goal of $10,000 and will gratefully continue to fundraise and build a fund that will help Cheryl over the course of her long road to recovery. Please keep praying for Cheryl’s continued recovery!
