UPDATE: Tony is having a good day! He’s out of bed and in the chair by the window next to Cheryl! Mild shortness of breath. Pain is not horrible. He’s smiling. Best day ever since FEB 6!!! We will take it!

UPDATE: Today March 12th he will be having bowel obstruction surgery & it's high risk due to the blood clots found in his lungs. If you can't financially help then please send prayers his way.

I am starting this GoFundMe page for my best friend and her family. Cheryl Judd is the kindest, most giving person that I know. She has four daughters and always puts them first, no matter what. The same goes for her parents, Effie and Tony Visser, which I am sure is where she gets this caring trait from. She has been by her dad's side for the past FIVE weeks, and you could not tear her away. Her father, Tony, has had a long road of recovery lately due to cancer. He went to have a medical procedure at Stanford, which was supposed to help make his life easier and hopefully pain-free, but that surgery has now come with several complications and additional surgeries on what was already a weak body.

His wife and his daughter (Cheryl) have been staying at a nearby Sheraton Inn for over 5 weeks now. Also visiting and staying from time to time have been the other two daughters (from Oceanside and Seattle) and four granddaughters (Cheryl's daughters from Riverbank, Oakdale, Las Vegas, and South Carolina) to see their "Paca" (Dutch for grandpa).

This family could really use, not only prayer and moral support, but also some financial help in their time of need. I know they would not ask for it themselves, so I have decided to start this page to help them with the cost of travel expenses for the family, which include gas, plane tickets, hotels, meals, and even laundry at the local laundromat.
