Ms. Cheryl Johnson one of our colleague passed away unexpectedly on November 15th 2021, as a result of serious health condition. Cheryl Johnson and her husband Mr. Johnson who recently moved to a new home been a great couple to take care of each other and her in-law. Recently she has been taking care of her husband who is unemployed and going through some medical issues. Ms. Johnson and her husband Randy have no kids. Worked at CA DMV field offices, then phone center, then on loan to ESD, then made permanent with ESD. Then RS6000 DMVA unit where she learned lot with very little training including Direct Access. She was willing and capable of learning anything. Her dedication to the Department was higher than most that I have known in my 3 years with the Department. Her family was put in a difficult situation due to sudden demise. Let us stand together as family and friends to assist the family at this difficult time.
