Cheryl Helped Give Hope. Help Us Give Her Hope.

This is Cheryl Renslow. Cheryl is the wife of Brian Renslow (LATICRETE Int. TSR for MN, ND, and SD). To those of you who know Brian, he is an instant friend. To our team, he is our family. Cheryl is currently a children’s nurse and has been for over 23 years. 20 years with Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN and most recently a home care nurse for those children and families that get to leave the hospital, but still need her love and care.

On April 5th Cheryl woke up with severe abdominal pain. After a brief visit to an urgent care facility, she was rushed to United Hospital in St. Paul, MN where she underwent an unexpected full hysterectomy surgery to save her life. This was due to a tumor that had formed and ruptured in her abdomen. It was diagnosed and later confirmed from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN as a rare uterine cancer called Leiomyosarcoma. Today, 5/30/23 Cheryl received her first of many chemo treatments spanning through the end of the year. A nickname was given to the poison she’ll be getting, “The Red Devil”. We have little doubt that this “Red Headed Angel” will win!

Cheryl has devoted much her life to the safety and care of many children and their families. Now as she battles for her own safety and care, we ask that you please hope and pray that those children will get back into her loving care again soon. Our goal with this platform is not to cure cancer, but to offer a form of relief as this unexpected surgery and treatment comes with high monetary costs. Any donations are deeply appreciated.
