Cheryl Get Well

Donation protected
Hey Friends, Family and those that are both!

Cheryl's Cancer journey has been at a standstill. They are treating her palliatively - meaning just letting her live out her last days. Cheryl however feels like she still has hope of seeing her children grow and wants to explore other options. It is costly though! If you can donate a little or a little more to help her give everything she has to beat this thing please do. We are going to let Cheryl have access to this account so that she can tell you more of her story.

My journey with cancer officially began October 2023 when ultrasound results and subsequent biopsy results showed a giant carcinoma with satellite lesions, a vascular blood flow system and metastasized lymph node. Diagnosis was Invasive ductal cancer, the most common and agressive form of cancer. The plan was chemo therapy to shrink the tumor and then surgery. I did everything my drs recommended. Went to oncology clinic where i learned they were putting me on an extremely harsh chemo. Did the echo they wanted, everything. I began chemo in December 2023. Unfortunately, after only 2 treatments I became quite ill, not just with vomiting but headaches. I was frequently at ER to get rehydrate. I became quite confused and alot of other things were going on thar lead to a CT scan on my brain and 5 MRI's. The results revealed I had tumor growths in my brain along with brain Mets. I was taken off work and declared palliative. I complete 10 radiation treatments (the maximum) and eventually returned to work.

Due to how my body faired with so little chemo, I made the decision to not return to chemo but instead to work with an Integrative Oncologist here in Montego Bay.

I credit his treatments along with the support of my family and friends and the incredible people who have been praying for me, along with my determination to live and God's abundant grace and mercy that I'm here standing as strong as I am. To quote a famous Reggae artist, Buju Banton, "its not an easy road"

I am now at a place where I need further treatment. The medical community would like that to be chemo and surgery. I would prefer treatment that will build up and strengthen my body so it can heal, instead of being torn down.

This treatment comes at a significant cost. I am asking each of you who see this to not only share with others but to please donate so I can heal and live to see my children and grandchildren. But most importantly, I want to live so I can declare the works of the Lord.
