Cheryl became the Director of Clackamas 911 in 2018. She was a fierce leader with a compassionate heart that cared deeply for each and every one of her staff. Cheryl had a passion for spreading kindness and letting everyone know that they mattered and were appreciated. One of her greatest passions during her years as Director, was creating our Employee Recognition Program. Recognizing CCOM employees for the exceptional work that they do that often can go unrecognized brought her so much joy. You could watch her face light up every time she got the opportunity to say 'good job'.

The family's wish is that CCOM carries on her legacy of spreading appreciation and kindness for all of the employees. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made directly to CCOM in her name so that the agency that she loved so much can continue to nourish the garden that she lovingly planted.
