Hey y'all, Sabrina Mendoza here, back-back-back again with another sick and twisted movie but this time I'm directing it! That's right, a FEMALE, POC, and worst of all a WRITER is making a movie and I need YOUR help!

What are you doing this time?

Cherry Dolphin is a short horror/comedy about a recent film school grad getting a Production Assistant job and thrown into a wild wacky set. Thing is: he doesn't know he's working on a Snuff Film.

Snuff Film?

Yeah, like Serbian Film, Martyrs, Saw, Hostel but full of laughs that you might not wanna tell your parents about!

What do you need the money for?

Listen, we all know the terrible things happening in this world and let's not have not paying people be one of them. We got a full ensemble cast, an amazing crew and wonderful makeup artists I need to give all the money to make these terrible horrible sick fantasies come true! Also, they're all from Michigan! Support local scenes, y'all.

Plus since we're still in a pandemic, we need to ensure that we're super safe on set so a small percent of the money is to make sure we're all negative and healthy.

Ok, let's say I donate. What do I get?

Oh man, what DON'T you get! Reminder: you get everything included with previous perks depending on how much you donate.

• $5 - $25: You get a shout out on the StartingOffScared instagram page, a special thanks in the credits and a poster!
• $30 - $60: You get a digital copy of the film and a signed poster from writer/director Sabrina Mendoza
• $70 - $100: You get a unique custom poster with a photoshopped image of you posing in our Snuff Chair that you can share with your family and friends!
• $200 - $500: You get an Associate Producer credit AND a special StartingOffScared Double Feature Blu-Ray copy of Cutting Edge AND Cherry Dolphin, including never before seen footage from both films!
• $1,000: You get everything (obviously), a special thank you from everyone (cast/crew) and an Executive Producer credit.

The pandemic hit us hard last time but here we are making it up to you, the people who help us make our crazy dreams come true.

Straight up, this is gonna be the most wild thing I've ever done in my life so far and I've done some CRAZY stuff. Even if you don't donate please just share and keep the word going, the people I've met in Michigan really deserve a chance to let their freak flag fly and this is the perfect opportunity for them to let is soar. I've worked really hard on this, hell I even got beat up for it, and this is the point in my life/career where I want to make a name for myself and launch it into the burning sun.
