On August the 25th, Cherryl Lynn Clark went home to be with the Lord. Though we will never understand why he wanted her so soon, we find a peace that she is no longer suffering. On August 1st, her 56th birthday, she was admitted into the hospital. Shortly after, we recieved a diagnosis of aggressive cancer blocking her airways, she went through two stent surgeries and rounds of radiation and put up a hard fight, but the cancer quickly took over. Donnie and Cherryl celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary during her stay at Vanderbilt. He was with her every step of the way, and her face lit up every time he walked into the room. Cherryl was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, "Mimi," sister, aunt, friend, and so much more. Throughout her years, Cherryl organized many benefit auctions and golf tournaments. She was there when anyone needed her. We are raising funds to support her end-of-life expenses and expenses associated with Donnie's unemployment during her extended hospital stay. We appreciate all the support and prayers and hope we have a massive turnout for her Celebration of Life on Sunday at 2 pm (4301 Arno Rd. Franklin, TN)
