"Heads & Tails" Independent Short Film
Donation protected
Synopsis:
After the death of their father, siblings Jonah and Athena handle their grief differently; one mourns in a healthy manner while the other is haunted by the significant hole left by their father. Despite an immense disconnect between their emotional states, the siblings must confront their grief before it consumes them.
About the Project:
Heads & Tails is an independent short film that follows two siblings and their individual experiences of how they handle the death of their father. We witness the stories converge, allowing us to analyze how multiple people can experience the same event differently. The dualistic thematic structure raises questions regarding human connection and empathy. The film will test the limits of subjective storytelling and how the subjective nature of the human brain can be conveyed unconventionally.
The film itself will be around ~15 minutes. Principal photography takes place in late-May.
