Cherno Ceesay Funeral

Cherno, a beloved son, a brother, an uncle, cousin, loyal friend, and every child's favorite baby sitter, with the most contagious laugh met his untimely demise in Issaquah on December 13.  As an Uber driver, he responded to a call for a ride at 9:18pm on Sunday, the 13th. The riders stabbed him from the back multiple times and viciously as soon as they entered his vehicle in a reported attempt to rob him. He was dead at 9:20pm, two minutes after those two individuals entered his vehicle. Police apprehended the two suspects who are charged with first degree murder and are currently in custody. 

The thoughts, prayers, and words of support from people far and wide who were touched deeply by Cherno's story is appreciated by the family. We hope and pray no family experiences our void and heartache. An irreplaceable, peaceful, strong pillar and support to his community and family, especially his mother, has departed this world from a senseless attack on an innocent soul trying to make an innocent living.
