Help me help my mom Cheryl.
She is 70yrs old with a sprit of a 40yr old and has hit rock bottom. My mother is now homeless and in need of long term private rehab and housing.
My mom is losing her battle with alcohol and cocaine. And punishing herself for past bad decisions. I need your help to help her. She had a party filled college life in California and one hit is all it took for her addiction to strike. It was there before I was born but now I have empathy for my mother and what her addiction has done to her life, my three brothers and her five grandchildren. We are broken.
I was looking for my mom since last speaking to her on her birtday July 23, 2020. I found her February 11, 2021 living under the expressway in Overtown, Fl. Unkempt, depressed and lost. This is our chance to get my mom the help she has needed and now wants.
We want to relocate my mom to Fernandina Beach, Fl. for full 6 months of rehab and housing. She grew up in Fernandina and we have family there. A small town will be a better environment for my mother.
