Cherlyn smith

Our good friend Cherilyn, from New Moston was just 51 years old when she sadly passed away on the 13th of October after a short battle with cancer.

She took ill just 8 weeks ago, she underwent multiple tests, but sadly when they all came back, they revealed she had two types of cancers and none of this could be treated due to how aggressive it was.

Cherilyn was the strongest women ever and put up her best fight to the bitter end.

Cherilyn leaves behind her 16-year-old son Rocco and her mum Carol, a close-knit family, the bestest of friends who were her absolute world.

Cherilyn was one of life’s treasures, she always went above beyond for everybody, putting the needs of others before her own. A truly selfless and amazing human being.

We are raising funds to pay for funeral costs after such a traumatic couple of months to help alleviate the financial burden in the months ahead. Any donation however small would be greatly appreciated to help Carol and Rocco as they have to work through this heartache and rebuild a life without their best friend, mum and daughter Cherilyn.
