Our beautiful niece, sister, daughter, and friend was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma in September of 2012 at the age of 17 years old. After undergoing over two years of grueling treatments including brain surgery, radiation and chemotherapy Candra was told she had a grade 4 glioblastoma and that her cancer was in fact, terminal. During this time, Candra's mother has been her constant caretaker alongside Candra's grandparents, and they have all been greatly challenged financially due to the medical and travel costs associated with treatment and Candra's mother's inability to work during this period. This campaign is to provide the family with some financial relief and assist them with final preparations. These precious times with Candra should be spent treasuring family moments, not having to worry about finances. The Lemos and Guerra families are grateful for your support.
Please note the any funds not used for medical and final arrangements will be donated to The National Brain Tumor Society http://www.braintumor.org so that we may help the fight against brain cancer. Thank you for your love and support.
