This is the story of my precious brother, Paul Renteria. He was my best friend, someone I’ve always looked up to, and someone I always wanted to be exactly like in every way. He was a big brother, a little brother, and a loving son who according to mom was born with a big smile! We had different dads, but we never viewed each other as half-brothers, as it was the same with my other siblings as well. He loved his two beautiful children so much and was so proud when they came into this world. He was loved by his lifelong friends, and he left a long-lasting impression on the acquaintances he met along the way. He was the funniest person and could have everyone’s jaw sore from laughter; he was king of the one-liners! He was a very talented musician and wouldn’t be caught camping without his acoustic guitar. There’s a massive void in this world since he left, but we’ll all see him eventually and give him a fat hug and a fat kiss.
