My name is Rachel and back in 2022 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer. Thanks to the amazing surgery team, oncology team and nurses at Sydney's Royal North Shore hospital I am living a second chance life. I've now had two 'lines' of chemo and currently do not have any active cancer. So while it is gone I'm going to keep making the most of my blessings and will be running the New York City Marathon in November 2025.

I have committed to raising $10,000.00 for Cherish Women's Cancer Foundation.

You may not know that there is no early detection test for ovarian cancer and the 5 year survival rate is only 49%. By fundraising for Cherish I hope to contribute to their research and participation in trials for detecting cancers and improving the outcomes for women and their families after diagnosis.
