Cherish is a dedicated wrestler with one goal in mind: to represent Team California at the Fargo Nationals in Fargo, ND in July. She has spent countless hours training for a shot like this and has earned her place to be there. Currently, in her senior year of high school, she stands as a 3-time Marmonte League Champion, 3-time CIF-SS Masters Qualifier, 2-time CA State qualifier, and this year captured her first CIF-SS title by winning the 235lbs title at the Northern Division finals. She is Thousand Oaks High Schools first ever girl to champion at CIF and first ever girl to qualify for Fargo Nationals.
Traveling for wrestling competitions is expensive, and as much work as she's put into training and competing, the cost of travel, accommodation, and other expenses adds up quickly. We are asking for your help to cover these expenses so she can compete on the national stage, continue to grow in the sport, and be a role model for the next round of girls to come. Cherish will be representing more than just Team California in this endeavor. She hopes to make her wrestling club, Project8, proud, her hometown Thousand Oaks, and all her family, nationwide.
Cherish is committed to making the most out of every opportunity and promises to leave it all out there on the mat!
Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings her one step closer to her goal. Thank you for supporting our girl on this journey!
