Hi everyone, my name is Amanda McGowin and on May 9th our mom suffered a massive stroke while driving. She was careflighted to Tyler where she stayed for 5 days in ICU. She does not have insurance at the moment and needs to be in rehab so her quality of life is much more optimistic. We are taking all the right steps to make this happen, but they will not put her into rehab because of no insurance and made the statement that it is far too expensive. She is no longer able to drive or work. If anyone knows my mom, they know that she is ALWAYS willing to lend a helping hand, and it has been very difficult to even ask for help, but we need it. We need our mom/bunny. All funds will go to her medical bills, doctors appts, rehab. Even if you’re not able to donate, we appreciate ALL of the love that our family has and continues to receive.
