Hey everyone. This is Cheri’s daughter-in-law, Stephanie. I wanted to start this fundraiser on behalf of her amazing husband Craig, my husband David, and my brother Shane. On October 10th, mom gained her wings after putting up the hardest fight I’ve ever seen. After already being diagnosed with and battling Multiple Sclerosis for years, she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of liver cancer. These past few months have been the hardest. She had major surgery to remove most of her liver. We thought they got it all, and that she could recover, and we thought we could win. We thought we’d have her for years and years to come.

The last week is an absolute blur. Mom was admitted to the hospital because she was septic. Her health rapidly declined while she was in the ICU. The cancer came back and spread and absolutely blindsided us. We were told she had a week or less, when in reality we had less than 24 hours left with her on this Earth. My intention with this fundraiser is to relieve any financial stress that may come. There is no actual monetary goal that needs to be reached, I just want to help Dad in any way that I can.

I am sorry we lost her. The support we’ve received already has been so overwhelming, and I can’t thank everyone enough. Mom was a fiery soul and the brightest light, and she was taken from us all too soon.
