Hi lovlies, 

So one of our friends has decided after just over two years of being on testosterone privately that they would like to start getting ready for top surgery due to the money and having to go private for this surgery, they don't feel although they're able to save all the money up by themselves. Due to their background and safety reasons we arent able to share their name, but on instagram they are known as @talon.of.thehawk 

They have shared the reason they wanted to start this fundraiser is because of the dysphoria they feel on a daily basis and the physical effects of wearing a binder every day has negatively impacted them as they suffer from intense back pain and chest pains. Due to the amount needing raised and the waitlist times just like a lot of other trans people we feel like we need to take matters in our own hands and help raise money for the people in our community. So we can continue to still be members of our community and society. 

Due to being with gendergp for the past two years they have decided to switch healthcare providers and go with YourGP as they will need to get another gender dysphoria diagnosis and two reccomendation letters for top surgery. We will be trying to raise 8,500 as they need to start up as a new patient with YourGP so, we have started this gofundme but we are also hosting a fundraiser night on the 23th of august at SWG3Poetry club, all processed from ticket sales will go towards this except a small portion to pay for the artists and performers travel.
