This is Ganesan Karuppasamy currentlyliving in Houston TX . Before moving here i was working in Chennai more than 4 years . I am raising funds for Chennai flood relief and monitoring the relief activities done by the team (Arappor Iyakkam ) which i am co-ordinating with on daily basis.
What we’re raising money for?
Right now the whole Chennai is under water due to heavy floods. There are many lakhs people are strangled in buildings surrounded by water . We need lot of relief materials to provide to needy people . All we can do is support all the possible ways the team helps on the ground with our contribution. We have been working with Arappor Iyakkam for the last 2 weeks in relief work. More details about Arappor : https://www.facebook.com/Arappor
How the money will be used?
The money will be used to provide relief materials (We do go inquire the people staying at relief camps and based on each relief camps needs we provide relief materials) . Also using this money to buy life jackets, take boat for rents for rescuing operations. We have a 4 member NRI Team specifically to monitor the contribution from this campaign. Mohan Karuppusamy, Mohanraj Thirumali and Krithika Verma are part of this monitoring group and we will ensure every penny is being spent effectively and reaches the needy people directly and sooner.

As soon as possible!
