My name is Katie Xiong, I got married in 2015 to my wonderful husband Cheng Xiong. As soon as we got married, we both wanted to start a family. We had been trying for a whole year and nothing was happening. I went to the doctors and did all the test that was qualified with a OBGYN. After doing all those test and being on pills nothing was working at all. After the OBYN could not help us anymore, I considered going to a fertility specialist. The wait for a fertility specialist was a couple months out to be seen. I was okay to wait because they doctors keep telling me that my case was unexplained fertility. But thankfully I got a call from the fertility place and got in within 1 month. I was still positive about that they would be able to help and it would be an easy transition. In the meantime waiting to get to my appointment, I had a cyst burst in my left ovary which caused the left ovary to stop working. I also still have lots of fluid in my left ovary. I finally got to my appointment at my fertility specialist and I had to take a HSG blood test and they told me it was .2 but its suppose to be greater than 1.0. My reserves of eggs are very low. It killed me to find out this my chances of IUI and IVF went down alot. I have less than 30% for IVF to work for us. So I would like to ask everyone to help as much as possible for Cheng and I to become parents. We will be doing IVF but right now we do not have the money and not that much time to wait to get IVF since I am running out my eggs that I do have.
