Chenanne's Truck Replacement Fund

Donation protected
On Saturday, February 11th, my mom was hit by a drunk driver on Combie road in Grass Valley on her way home from work.  Her truck was flipped and our precious dog Malachy was ejected out of the back window and died at the scene.  Thankfully my moms seatbelt saved her life, but she has a long road to recovery, both mentally and physically.
My mom is an amazing woman.  Hard working, honest, giving, strong, and independent.  She works harder than anyone i know, running her small business to provide for myself, our dogs, cats, horse, donkeys, and goats.  She has given herself to helping others, and has spent her whole life rescuing animals and giving them the best home they could have.  Anyone who knows my mom knows her love and dedication to her animals, especially her dogs. There are few places she will go if she cant bring her puppies along with her. This accident has greatly impacted my moms life, from the heartbreak of loosing the love of her life right in front of her, to the sudden halt of her productive and busy life.
Malachy was my moms pride and joy.  They shared a true love affair.  His big brown eyes tracked her every move, I have never seen a dog more in love with its owner than he was with my mom.  For 10 years he rarely left her side.  Malachy was a 100lb Great Pyrenees, incredibly handsome, so sweet and gentle, powerful and strong, and dignified.  He was truly one of a kind.  Mal was in the process of training our 9 month old puppy, Kona, to gaurd our property from mountain lions and coyotes. My mom had brought Malachy to work alone that day to have some "one on one" time, as Kona had been pestering his older brother.  Mal was a huge part of our family, the leader of the pack, and our protector.  We are devastated by this senseless tragedy and the loss of our sweet boy, but also thankful for all the memories we have with him.
I made this gofundme to help get my mom a dependable used truck. The accident totalled her truck and unfortunately the high mileage resulted in a low insurance claim.  She had recently replaced the transmission and was planning on keeping her truck for several more years.  She runs her business and small ranch by herself and depends on her truck for both.
Thank you everyone for the support and taking the time to read this!
