Hi, everyone! My name is Lakitha Smith, and I’ve started this fundraising campaign on behalf of my sister, Alicia Douglas. She has silently been battling stage 2 breast cancer since becoming diagnosed November 29, 2024.

She is entering her twelfth week of chemotherapy treatment, all while working full-time and supporting her children as a single mom. The treatments costs have and are continuing to add up. When she was battling cancer previously, the supporters really provided much-needed assistance, so I’ve asked her if I could set up another fundraising campaign. She has given me permission to reach out on her behalf, so here we are!

Any amount that you can give would be appreciated beyond words. And if you are not in a position to give financially, prayers, warm thoughts and well-wishes are always welcome.

Throughout this journey, her spirit has been tested, but she continues to show up weekly for her treatments, while undergoing challenging side effects in between.
