Butters is a 16 year old cat that i've had for a long time now, we've been traveling together and we even immigrated to Italy together. Our story together started nearly 8 years ago now, when her old owner decided that she couldn't keep her anymore, I quickly took her in and loved her from the very beginning. We've been to Milan, Sardinia, Rimini, and now we've arrived at a place I never wanted to be, a devastating diagnosis of a Lymphoma in her stomach. The tumor is about the size of a small sausage, however it has already metastasized to her lymph nodes, this has quickly become a costly disease to fight.

However she has responded incredibly to the treatment after just one day, something that have me immense hope and renewed my fight to give her the best chances I can provide, but I need help. She needs a special dosage of Leukeran, which is ~€50 a month, along with a strong cortisone pill that is 16 euros every two months (luckily), and a special gastrointestinal food that she can eat which is about €44 a month... she'll also need blood work every month at around €60, this will completely drown me in debt without the kind help of all of you.

Please help me give her a fighting chance, she deserves better than what life has given her.

Butters è una gatta di 16 anni che è con me da tanto tempo. Abbiamo sempre viaggiato insieme, siamo andati a vivere in Italia insieme. La nostra storia è iniziata quasi otto anni fa, quando la sua precedente proprietaria ha deciso di non poterla più tenere, e io l'ho adottata e amata fin dal primo istante. Siamo stati insieme a Milano, in Sardegna, a Rimini, e adesso siamo in una situazione che mai avrei voluto dover affrontare, una diagnosi devastante di un linfoma nel suo stomaco. Il tumore è grande quanto un salsicciotto, ma sembra essersi già espanso ai suoi linfonodi, e il costo di esami e cure si è accumulato in fretta.

Tuttavia sembra aver risposto incredibilmente bene alle prime cure dopo già un giorno, cosa che mi ha ridato speranza e la forza di continuare a combattere per darle una chance di stare meglio, ma ho bisogno di una mano. Serve un dosaggio speciale di Leukeran, farmaco chemioterapico la cui preparazione in farmacia costa circa 50 euro al mese, insieme a delle pasticche di cortisone per animali che costano 16 euro ogni due mesi (fortunatamente), e un cibo speciale gastrointestinal, l'unico che può mangiare, che costerà circa 44 euro al mese... senza contare le analisi del sangue di controllo per seguire l'andamento della terapia e dei possibili effetti collaterali, di circa 60 euro al mese. Tutte queste spese mi affonderebbero senza l'aiuto di tutti voi.

Per favore, aiutatemi a darle la possibilità di combattere, si merita il meglio.
