Hi, my name is Rui. I am starting this GoFundMe page in hopes that we can raise enough funds to save my sweet little girl Cora. I adopted her from Mexico in December and she began having symptoms of an illness in January. We have gone through thousands of dollars of diagnostic tests ($3200)to find out that she has a very treatable cancer that is prevalent in Mexican dogs. It is called transmittable venereal tumour. This type of cancer responds very well to chemo treatments and the vet states she will need anywhere from 6 to 8 weekly treatments at $800 each treatment . This is why I am hoping to raise as much money as possible. $6500 would cover everything but anything would help begin the treatment because as you can see by the pictures she is getting sicker and sicker. The tumour is large in her snout to the point where her face is starting to distort; her eye is bulging; she can no longer breathe from her snout and the blood has stopped, but now she has this obvious mucus that indicates an infection is starting. She is not having the great life that we wanted her to have here in Canada. Please help us save this sweet little girl.
