For those of you who know my dad. He's loving, caring, generous, and a God-Fearing Man. He's inspiration and motivation to a lot of us throughout our family, friends and church community.  About a month ago, we learned shortly after my dad was recovering from Pneumonia that the doctors had identified what looked like a mass in his chest during the evaluating x-ray. They ran several tests and came to the conclusion that he had stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to his liver and brain.  His oncologist in McAllen recommended him to visit a neurosurgeon here in San Antonio. The Neurosurgeon stated that he needed to get the tumor out right away as it was causing a large amount of swelling in his brain. Thank God, that the tumor in the back of his brain HAS been successfully removed. After 9 days in the ICU he was finally discharged and is now currently regaining his strength to begin his chemo treatments right away. But this is just the beginning of  his long and arduous journey.

As the sole bread-winner within his household, this chemo treatment is expensive and doctors are requesting money upfront before treatments can even begin.  Our family needs your help now more than ever. Please help support with any monetary amount that God puts in your heart. This is a fight that he has decided to face head on and we are here to support him every step of the way.

This is a very urgent matter, and as his son I believe that I speak for my entire family when I say that we would love to see him back to his optimal health as soon as possible.
