Before Covid hit i had 4 friends receive a cancer diagnosis or start chemo within a 2 week period. Last week a lunch lady at my kids school passed away from complications from Covid. This woman was also the mother-in-law of a friend of mine who has been serving the cancer community in Sioux Falls with her Chemo Comfort Care Bags. All of this combined but it on my heart to honor her memory with donations to Delivering Hope - Chemo Comfort Bags.
No one wants to go through Chemo, but these bags not only bring comfort to those who have no choice, but they are also a reminder that they are not alone - that there are others who care and want them to have blankets, activities and more to keep patients comfortable during their treatments.
This year the goal is 400 bags and I am aiming to donate a coloring book for each bag. I personally am going to donate 75 books. I have another friend who will be donating 60. So we need your help raise donations for the other 265. The good news is that Usborne Book & More has a matching grant program. For every 2 bags donated, 1 additional book will be donated. So that brings our goal to raise $$ for 176 books! Each book is only $6 We can do this!

Consider Donating:
$6 = 1 Book
$12 = 3 Books
