Ciao a tutti, mi chiamo Alessia. Ho bisogno di aiuto per il mio micio Mirò. Ha solo 6 anni (ne compie 7 a fine agosto, se ci arriva..). A fine gennaio ha iniziato a vomitare, l ho portato dal veterinario il quale gli ha trovato tumore al linfonodo mesenterico. Abbiamo optato per la strada della chemio proprio per l'età che ha. Se fosse stato più vecchio probabilmente non avrei nemmeno tentato, ma è ancora giovane. L'idea di perderlo mi uccide. Al momento ho sostenuto le prime 4 settimane di chemio spendendo 1350 euro chiedendo un prestito a un parente. I soldi sono finiti, ma la chemio la deve continuare ancora per un po' (per un massimo di 6 mesi) altrimenti quella fatta finora (e anche i soldi spesi finora) sarebbero stati inutili. Chiunque potesse aiutarmi anche solo con pochi spiccioli, gliene sarei immensamente grato. Lo dico con il cuore in mano!

He’s only 6 years old (he’ll turn 7 at the end of August — if he makes it that far…).

At the end of January, he started vomiting daily. I took him to the vet, and they found a tumor on his mesenteric lymph node.

We chose to try chemotherapy because of his young age. If he were older, I probably wouldn’t have even tried, but he’s still so young.

The thought of losing him breaks my heart.

So far, I’ve managed to pay for the first 4 weeks of chemo by borrowing €1350 from a relative.

But the money has run out, and Mirò still needs to continue his treatment (potentially up to 6 months).

If we stop now, everything we’ve done — and every euro spent — will have been for nothing.

If anyone can help me, even with just a few coins, I would be forever grateful.
