Expenses for reconstruction surgeries

My name is Gheorghe Maria - Angela and 4 years ago I was diagnosed with bone cancer in the upper maxilla.

Because the Romanian doctors could not guarantee good survival rates here, I had to go to a hospital in Germany as quickly as possible aided by the S2 European document.

I have gone through the surgery room 30 times in less than 8 months, I have gone through 33 carbon ions therapy sessions, 3 months of chemotherapy and 17 days of induced coma in intensive care with only a 10% chance of survival.

I ended up sacrificing the right half of my face including my right eye, half of my maxillary including teeth, half of my rib, half of the skin and tissue from the upper side of my left leg for skin grafts and skin and tissue from my back, also for skin grafts to survive.

I desperately wish to look like a normal person again as I have many future plans, but sadly the costs for treatment in Germany are enormous.

I need financial aid for accommodations, translators, transportation and of course the many treatments (plastic surgery) that I need to undertake and other expenses uncovered by the insurance.

Numele meu este Gheorghe Maria - Angela, iar în urmă cu 4 ani am fost diagnosticată cu cancer osos la nivelul maxilarului superior.

Pentru că medicii din România nu mi-au garantat șanse de supraviețuire aici, am fost nevoită să plec de urgență la un spital din Germania cu ajutorul formularului european S2.

Am trecut prin sala de operație de 30 de ori în mai puțin de 8 luni, am trecut prin 33 de tratamente cu ioni de carbon, 3 luni de chimioterapie și 17 zile de comă la terapie intensivă cu doar 10% șanse de supraviețuire.

Am fost nevoită să sacrific jumătate din față, jumătate din maxilar+dinți, jumătate din coastă, jumătate de piele și grefă de la piciorul stâng și ochiul pentru a putea rămâne în viață.

Îmi doresc infinit de mult să arăt ca un om normal, am multe planuri de viitor însă costurile sunt enorme în Germania.

Am nevoie de ajutor pentru cazare, traducători, transport, operații plastice și multe alte cheltuieli care nu sunt decontate de CNAS din România.
