Chelsie Ward was in a head on collision and obtained serious injuries, that had to be operated on. The following injuries include; a broken femur, tibia and lower back. Due to the seriousness of the injuries and major loss of blood, Chelsie has been in the hospital for a week and a half. Although, the doctors have her stabilized in the trauma unit, her hemoglobin continues to decline, putting her at risk for a blood transfusion. Currently, her hemoglobin is at 7, the doctors are preparing her for a transfusion if she falls below this count. Chelsie is in dire need of financial help as she did not have medical insurance and has to pay for rehab, all medical expenses and transportation home, as she was out of state during this accident. Rehab won't accept her without cash up front and this is an essential part of the recovery process, as she cannot walk and has to relearn the basics of how to take care of herself including; sitting up, walking and many other basic functions.
