The cover picture of this page is that of Chelsie Doll (Johnson), our Daughter, Sister, Spouse, best friend, and everything else for anyone involved with this campaign.
Chelsie was involved in a terrible auto accident on the afternoon of Friday, July13th. The link to the story, as written in The Daily Record, is below.
While the story is written fundamentally accurately, we can't say exactly what caused the accident as Chelsie can't tell us yet.
Her triage list is as follows: Multiple compound fracture to her femur. Multiple breaks to her pelvis. Multiple broken ribs and a corresponding collapsed lung. A lacerated spleen. A lacerated liver. A suspected concussion. Multiple other lacerations, abrasions, and contusions that seem almost insignificant in context.
The accident occurred as Chelsie was leaving her new job for the day. She hasn't been there long enough to qualify for health insurance. Thus, the need for this campaign.
She has undergone her first surgery, with others and a long and daunting healing and recovery/rehabilitation process still to come.
As you can imagine, the medical expenses are expected to be astronomical with the average cost of a life flight alone being $25,000. Any contributions received will be applied to those medical expenses.
Please help by donating what you can.
Thank You,
Chelsie's Team
