Chelsie Hurcomb’s Battle with Breast Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Kellie Goins and I’m fundraising for my beautiful best friend Chelsie Hurcomb. On January 5th, 2024 she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She is a loving mother of three and could use all the help she can get right now. These last few weeks have been full of procedures and appointments. She began her battle on February 9th with her first round of chemotherapy. She will be receiving chemotherapy every Friday for the next 12 weeks followed by four rounds every three weeks of red devil cycles. We are hopefully looking at July 5th for her last Chemotherapy treatment. After her last treatment she will then have four weeks to prepare for surgery. She will have a week until she gets her results from her surgery confirming they got all of the cancer. Afterwards she'll start immunotherapy and radiation. Chelsie also recently found out that she does not have short-term or long-term disability at her place of employment and is already feeling the effects of going from two jobs to one job as well as cutting back to part time at her main source of income. She has a very long road ahead of her but my friend is the strongest, toughest, most resilient person you will ever meet. I know she will win this fight. She's found peace in her faith, and her love for her children which has and will continue to give her the strength she needs to fight this fight but if you feel led or find it in your heart to donate it would be greatly appreciated.
