Chelsie and her family fight Ovarian and Uterine Cancer

Hi, my name is Meagan and I'm fundraising on behalf of my best friend, Chelsie Eering. Chelsie is a 34 year old single full time mom to two beautiful boys, Kaidan and Dre. Recently, Chelsie has been going through one of the hardest challenges of her life.

It all started late December when Chelsie began experiencing unexplainable symptoms that she thought were just stress. After some concerning bleeding, she sought medical help and was admitted to the hospital on December 26th. After an exploratory surgery the following week, doctors removed 27 masses from her body. Tragically, 75% of those massed were malignant and After multiple tests, Chelsie was diagnosed with an aggressive Uterine and Ovarian cancer. There are concerns it has also entered her stomach lining.

The diagnosis has rocked Chelsies world and changed everything for her family. She has to travel frequently between Cupar and Regina, Saskatchewan for treatments and test. This has left her unable to work, making it even harder for her to support herself and her boys during this incredibly difficult time.

We are coming together to raise money for the essential needs Chelsie and her family have during her treatment. Funds will be used for:

-Fuel for many trips between Cupar and Regina.

- Missed work to help cover lost income while she focuses on her health.

-Accommodation in Regina if needed during extended stays for treatments.

-Food and Other basics to help Chelsie and her boys stay nourished and cared for while they go through this journey .

Chelsie is an amazing mother and friend, and right now her focus needs to be on her fight for health - not on how to make ends meet. We want to support herself as she battles cancer so she can be ther3 for her boys, and ultimately come out victorious.
