Chelseys Mountview Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Chelsey Bailey and I am starting this fundraiser to help me afford going to my dream drama school: Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts!

Musical Theatre is my life. I've been singing and dancing from a young age and have always been told the stage is where I was headed. That turned out to be true and once I got on the stage I felt it was where I really belonged. I then decided it was what I wanted to do.

Looking into my further education in musical theatre I decided straight away that Mountview was my dream college.

Mountview is one of the top 3 drama schools in the UK and thousands of people apply each year. Out of those thousands only 40 people get offered a place on the BA (Hons) Performance - Musical Theatre course.

I auditioned last year and was lucky enough to get offered the foundation musical theatre course, lasting a year in London! This was honestly the best experience I've been lucky enough to have. Thoroughout that foundie year I have taken every opportunity to make the most of my training and worked hard with the goal of reauditioning and making it on to the BA course.

I loved every second and the hard work really paid of as I was honoured to recieve an offer of a place on the Mointview BA(Hons) Musical theatre course when I reauditioned this year!! I am over the moon with this incredible opportunity.

However, Mountview is extremely expensive with course fees being £16,945 per year. Being a private course, the student loan I can get only covers £6000 of this so I still have to find over £10,000 for me and my mum and dad to cover ourselves. This is going to be a struggle and I'm trying to raise funds towards this remaining balance.

Any donations would be a massive help and hugely appreciated! Any money from this go fund me will go directly towards paying for my course. I am so grateful and hope you can see it in your hearts to help me get on this course to help me achieve my dream of being a performer.
