Chelsea’s Medical Journey

Donation protected
Our friend and favorite potter Chelsea needs our support. A month ago, she went in to have an ultrasound on a mass she found on her abdomen. A CT scan followed indicating it was a tumor and needed to be biopsied. She had her first surgery two weeks ago and the results of the biopsy indicate that she has a Desmoid tumor. Desmoid Fibrometosis is very rare and affects 3-5 out of a million every year. While it is not malignant (phew!), it will more than likely grow back and more aggressively post surgery. Various treatments have been suggested which Chelsea is exploring including medications, targeted therapies, chemotherapy and cryoablation. She will most likely need to travel to find specialist care in treating Desmoid tumors.

The journey to a diagnosis has been expensive, as is the journey ahead, and she could use our support with medical bills. Chelsea works incredibly hard at her craft and has been successful in her business, but it is her family’s sole income. Let’s get Chelsea some answers and a solid treatment plan, so she can get back to the wheel and keep creating her magic.
