Chelsea’s kidney transplant

For those that know me, I am not one to ask for help, but I am today because I can’t do this without help. 

My daughter, Chelsea Tartaglia has battled type 1 diabetes since she was 12. The last 16 years have been very long and difficult. Nothing can break a man more than to know your child suffers and you are powerless to fix it. 

In March Chelsea gave birth to a beautiful little girl named Payton. She had to come 3 months early and weighed 2.5 lbs, like her mom she is a fighter and is thankfully doing wonderful. The pregnancy however took a toll on my little girl who now needs a pancreas and kidneys. Her kidneys are failing and we are hoping to find a donor so that she does not have to be put on dialysis so time is of importance.

I am being tested as are other family members, but we are asking if anyone who is type O might be willing to be tested to see if they are a match or even donate money as this will be a huge expense and the recovery time can be lengthy for Chelsea and the donor(s).

I would put my life on the line for my little girl so she can watch her little girl grow up.
