I appreciate you taking the time to check out my GoFund Me. My name is Chelsea. I am an amateur photographer who is looking for help getting a nicer camera. I discovered my passion at 5 years old using a Mickey-matic camera from Kodak in 1989 (complete with disposable flash bulbs). My goal is to get a DSLR camera with additional lens, batteries and a tripod. I would like to possibly get an inexpensive laptop, too, so I can better edit and upload my photos. I am currently using the camera on my Samsung Galaxy S20+. I manage to get some impressive shots with it but nothing quite compares to an actual camera.

As a local guide on Google Maps, I routinely upload my personal photos with the reviews I write. My 35 photos have garnered over 140,000 views. I take great pride in my hobby. Photography is one of mankind's greatest achievements, both historically and artistically. We can use it to communicate words and emotions. We can use it to send a clear message or to explain an abstract thought. We can set our eyes on a person who has been dead for decades or someone who is thousands of miles away all with the magic of pictures.
