Chelsea's Breast Cancer Battle

On March 20th Chelsea received the call from her doctor where she first heard the words that stopped her in her tracks " you have cancer" Everything has been fast tracked and a whirlwind since she heard these words. Chelsea is a dear friend of mine, she is a fellow veteran wife, she is a mother with young kids and she has triple negative breast cancer at only 35 years of age. The battle that her and her family are about to embark on will be difficult and long and we want to support her and her family in any way that we can. Chelsea has had her port placed and will be starting chemo next week, when chemo starts her doctor has asked her to stop working to preserve her immune system. This will be a financial hardship for her and her family. After the chemo treatment Chelsea will undergo a double mastectomy followed by radiation all while being a mother to 4 kids and a wife to a wounded warrior. The battle in front of her is a big one but she does have a wonderful support system and she is a fighter. If you are able to donate and alleviate some of the financial stress that is greatly appreciated, every little bit counts. Even if you are not able to donate financially, please keep this mama in your prayers because prayer is powerful and we need to storm the gates of heaven with prayers for this amazing mama.
