Help fund Chelsea's operation

My 23 year old daughter Chelsea (babydoll) has been in incredible pain for the past 3 years.  After various tests,  2 surgeries, a large number of powerful drugs (including morphine and tramadol) and 3 years of pain the NHS gave up on my babydoll without a confirmed diagnosis.

I recently took matters into my own hands and booked my daughter to see a private consultant and within 2 weeks my babydoll had a further surgery but this time we have a diagnosis!!

Chelsea has now been diagnosed with Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, cysts on her uterus, her uterus is tilted backwards, and her ovaries are trapped between her bowel and spine. in terms of what they can do well!! her consultant has advised that he can cut away the majority of the endometriosis but can only cauterise (burn) that which is on her organs, and can correct her tilted uterus. He is also to perform a total pelvic peritoneal excision cutting out the root to avoid reoccurance.  Unfortunately this will cost £15000 on top of the almost £4000 spent to get to this stage (a diagnosis)

This surgery will provide Chelsea with the best possible chance of living a near normal life and will at this stage avoid her requiring a hysterectomy giving her hope of having children of her own.

As a result of her illness Chelsea is in constant pain with further more severe pain attacks which cause her to collapse to the floor.

Owing to her illness Chelsea lost her place at University where she was studying to be a children’s Nurse as her illness has left her largely immobile and unable to leave her home without the assistance of another person and having to spend  the majority of her time in bed.

"Endometriosis is a condition where the endometrial cells lining the womb migrate to other parts of the body. Each month these cells react in the same way to those in the womb, building up and then breaking down and bleeding. Unlike the cells in the womb that leave the body as a period, this blood has no way to escape, this can cause inflammation, pain and the formation of scar tissue..

It is a chronic and debilitating condition that causes painful or heavy periods. It may also lead to infertility, fatigue and bowel and bladder problems. Around 1.5 million women in the UK are currently living with the condition. Endometriosis can affect all women and girls of a childbearing age, regardless of race or ethnicity.

Endometriosis can have a significant impact on a woman’s life in a number of ways, including:

Chronic pain
Fatigue/lack of energy
Depression/isolation
Problems with a couple’s sex life/relationships
An inability to conceive
Difficulty in fulfilling work and social commitments"
